Over 20 million home internet users in Brazil.

According to an IBOPE/NetRatings report recently released, people that have access to the Internet at home have surpassed the 20 million mark in September 2007. To put it in more Latin American terms, that’s enough to fill the Maracanã 210 times.
A few interesting figures are included:

* The total figure is 36.9 Million if we include people that have access from work, internet cafes and other places.

* That’s a 47% increase from last year.

* Brazilians continue to have the average time spent online record, 22 hours. Second is United States with 18 hours and 54 minutes.

At this pace Brazil will soon have more Internet users than people :-)
